I know it’s still March but it’s time to start thinking about Summer Swim  

One of our big volunteer needs is for parents to volunteer as Stroke and Turn Officials, Starters and Referees. All parents are welcome to volunteer for these roles. Free training is provided and you have the best seats in the house during meets!!! 

This is a great job for experienced swim parents or for those with a swimming background and comfortable with stroke rules, etc. Recently the team lost several of our stalward officials due to kids graduating so we really need to recruit some new officials this season. 

If you are a returning official and needed to recertify or want to move up a level please note the training dates below. 

New Referee or Starter Training: June 8th at Orange Hunt pool 

NVSL has released the training calendar for this spring and the closest Stroke and Turn Official training for our neighborhood will be Saturday May 17th at Cottontail pool, just on the other side of the parkway near Sangster Elementary. Other training dates are also offered.
