Team Event: Movie and Float Night

6-8:15 Float Party with Music 8:40-10:30 Movie Night - Minecraft Movie Safety is paramount, so the number and size of floats will be limited by the lifeguards. Only individual ring-type floats will be permitted. Large or 2 person floats will not be allowed. We will have the Masala Grill Food Truck on site for dinner. Pool Noodles will be allowed in the pool during the Movie. This event is open to the entire South Run community...bring your neighbors!!! |

ARRIVAL TIME: Swimmers: Please have your swimmer at our pool no later than 7:45 am. Warm-ups will start at 8:00 am sharp. Coaches: Arrive by 7:20 am. Volunteers: Check your job start time and arrive a few minutes early. First session marshals need to be there by 7:45 for warm ups to start. PARKING: Do not park in the lot, we reserve the entire parking lot for the visiting team. If your swimmer rides their bike please remind them not to leave their bikes on any paths. Do not block neighbors’ mailboxes or driveways. VOLUNTEERS: If you have a swimmer in the meet at least one parent should be volunteering. WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: Swimmers: Bring a cap, goggles, water, and a towel. Caps should be either a team cap or plain cap. Caps from club swimming are not allowed. Girls are not allowed to wear “tie back” suits. Boys may not wear swim shirts/rash guards during their race. The use of "Elastic Therapeutic or Kinesio Tape" for any reason is prohibited. Volunteers: Please wear white over blue (white shirt, blue shorts/skirt/pants). This doesn’t apply to concessions or the setup/facilities crew. PICTURES: Email any pictures you take and want to share for the end of season party slideshow to [email protected]. CONCESSIONS: We accept cash or Venmo. We will have breakfast items in the morning and lunch later in the meet along with a selection of snacks, candy, and drinks. If your swimmer becomes ill and cannot make it, please contact Coach Jack at [email protected] and [email protected] or text 703-568-7656 as soon as possible. |

What to Wear: Team suit if you have one. If your swimmer doesn't have a team suit then a black or green suit is fine too. If you don't have any of those, then just use your best judgement to pick a suit that doesn't clash too much. How to Buy Pictures: Parents can get a head start by purchasing an AdvancePay credit for their swimmers. You don't need to buy the advance pay credit, it's just an incentive so you get notified for photos and save $5 on orders over $25!
