Sign up deadline is Thursday, June 11, at 8 p.m.

All South run swimmers should attend so we can capture times to build our team ladder. Please sign your swimmer(s) up for every event they are confident they can swim legally (up to 4) and sign yourself up for a job.

We need all hands on deck with volunteers to cover slots since there is no visiting team to help.

Warmups will begin at 8 a.m. with the meet beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Make sure your swimmer(s) get a good night’s rest, eat a healthy breakfast, and drink plenty of water.

If your swimmer becomes ill and cannot make it, please text us at 703-568-7656 (Brendan) or 804-366-4383 (Kyle) as soon as possible.

CARAVAN & ARRIVAL TIME:

We would love for everyone to join us as we caravan to the meet! We'll leave from the South Run pool parking lot at 7:35 a.m.; otherwise, please arrive at Daventry pool no later than 8:00 a.m., and be ready for warm-ups.

Volunteers: check the start times for your jobs and listen to the announcer for when and where briefings will take place. Marshals need to be in place for warm-ups to start.

PARKING:

Daventry has reserved their pool parking lot for us.

WARM-UPS:

Warm-ups for South Run will be from 8:25-8:45 a.m.

VOLUNTEERS:

If you have a swimmer in the meet, at least one parent should be volunteering.

WHAT TO BRING/WEAR:

Swimmers:

Bring a cap, goggles, water, and a towel. Caps should be either a team cap or plain cap. Caps from club swimming or any other team are not allowed.

Girls are not allowed to wear “tie back” suits. Boys may not wear swim shirts/rash guards during their race. The use of "Elastic Therapeutic or Kinesio Tape" for any reason is prohibited.

Volunteers: Please wear white over blue (white shirt, blue shorts/skirt/pants).

CONCESSIONS:

Daventry will have concessions. They accept cash and credit cards.

TEAM LUNCH:

Directly after the meet the team will be meeting at Milano's Family Restaurant, located at 6230-G Rolling Rd, Springfield, VA 22152.

OTHER INFO:

Please remind your swimmers to stay in the team area and listen to their coaches for when they need to go to Clerk of Course. We want the team together and cheering!
